Food Safety Tips to Keep Your Guests Safe
I feel confident that our food safety tips can help you have a safe BBQ. You see I do believe that food safety is an important element to any barbeque and to having fun in your backyard.
I have been to many backyard barbeques over the years and many times I have seen food handling that leaves a great deal to be desired.
There were times when I thought maybe I should write a book on safe food handling to help people out. Well now that I have my own website I can do that.
You see I believe that being careful enough to serve safe food to your guests is all part of having backyard fun. After all if you make your guests sick, they may not want to come back, so let's just not go there.
Like BBQ Bob says, your backyard barbeque should be a fun time for all so let's not let bad food ruin an otherwise great time for your friends and family.
Yes, I know what you are all thinking right about now.
"I have been cooking out for years and have never had a problem before"
What I say to that is great, fantastic and wonderful. You see I know that some people are already well versed on safe food handling and feel they don't have to worry about food safety at their backyard barbeque.
Yet, based on my personal experiences, I also know there are many people out there that really could use this information, so that is why I have developed this short book covering some very basic food safety guidelines for you to download and use for free.
This book was developed specifically for you. Just follow the link below to download our book.

Fun Fact: Did you know that melons are a time and temperature sensitive food?
Leave your sliced melons out at room temperature for too long and you will probably get sick. We cover that in our book as well.
We try to give you some very basic knowledge that you can use to help you keep your dinner guests safe.
When I say time and temperature sensitive food do you know what I mean by that? This is covered in our book as well. It isn't just leaving your food out, but it is leaving it out for too long of a period of time that gets you into trouble.
Our book will give you direction on what is safe and what isn't.
Be sure you keep these bad boys away from your backyard barbeque. Don't let harmful bacteria ruin your day.
We discuss bacteria and pathogens, what they are, how many types there are and how to keep them from being an uninvited guest at your BBQ.
We also talk about time and temperature and how it relates to the danger zone. The danger zone is a very critical component to food safety and it is covered in great detail in our book as well.
Here is an general overview of what we cover:
* Some of the basic (very basic) science behind it all * How to buy safe food * We discuss the danger zone, what it is and how to stay out of it * How does time and temperature relate to safe food * Preparing and cooking your meal safely * Keeping your leftovers safe
This is just a very basic outline of some of the items we cover in our book about food safety tips. We also discuss brines, marinades, rubs, barbeque sauces and how to keep them all safe. Some people don't realize that danger lurks in these items as well if they are not handled properly.
And oh by the way, did I mention that our book is free? All you have to do is download it and print it out.
No purchase price, no surcharge, no shipping charges. It is free for you to have and use as long as you like and as often as you like.
