Easy and Quick Grilling Recipes That Will Make Your Mouth Water
One of my favorite ways to relax after work is to grill out and experiment with new grilling recipes. Also after a hard day at work I have found it best to keep things simple and this is just what our easy recipes are all about. Simple.
Remember, grilling is not like real barbeque. It is much quicker, but of course, you don't have to make it so quick that you can't find time to enjoy a beverage or two before you eat.
I really believe that some of the best grilling recipes are the ones that are the easiest to do.
You might also notice that some of our recipes are geared towards the empty nesters.
That is because we are generally alone ourselves now, well that is unless the kids and grand kids come to visit. The good thing about these grilling recipes though, is they can easily be expanded to accommodate a greater number of people when the need arises.
Grilled hamburgers are obviously a very popular weekend meal to many. Another very popular weekend and holiday meal is grilled steaks, however don't be afraid to check out some of our other great recipes listed below.
One of my best grilling recipes and I must admit, one of my most favorite for weekend cooking, is grilling ribs.
This is a meal that I grill as slow as possible using indirect heat. Ribs do need to be cooked slow and this meal should take 1 1/2 hours or more to cook depending on your equipment and weather conditions. There are times I can stretch it to 2 1/2 hours without over cooking them and that is a good thing.
Remember earlier when I said get a gas grill with at least three burners? Well this is one of those meals I was talking about.

Getting Your Temps RightsGood cooking isn't just getting your recipes right, but you need to get your temperatures correct as well. Nothing can ruin a meal quicker for you or your company than if you over or under cooked someone's food. Below is a very basic chart that you can use to help you get it right. How quick you get to these temps will depend on your equipment and weather conditions, but experimentation is half the fun. Is it not :-)
You will learn as you go along and I hope you have fun doing it!
The temperatures
| Beef and Lamb | Pork | | Rare 140° F | Medium 160° F | | Medium rare 150° F | Well Done 170° - 190° F | | Medium 160° F | | Well Done 170° F | | | | | | | Duck | | Chicken and Turkey | Rare 140° F | | Medium 165° F | Medium 160° F | | Well Done 170° - 180° F | Well Done 170° F | | |
If you really want to get it right, there are some great meat thermometers out there that you can buy to help you get your temps right.
Some of them are even remote control which is actually a great way to go. When cooking your food slow, using indirect heat, continually lifting the lid of your grill to check your meat temperature can really slow up the cooking process by letting all the heat out. I actually received one of these remote thermometers as a gift and I absolutely love it.
Please take some time and look around at all we have to offer. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we have. Maybe you have some of your own that you want to share. Please let us know that as well.
